Services

For 3&4 year olds

All 3&4 year old children are entiled to  15 hours of 'universal' funding (the term after their 3rd birthday) for 38 weeks of the year. If eligible, parents will also be able to claim 15 hours of 'extended' funding for 38 weeks of the year. No charge will be made for this service


2 Year olds

Some 2 year olds will be entitled to 15 hour funding (the term after their 2nd birthday) depending on circumstances. Since September 2025  working parents may be eligible to the 'extended' 15 hours. No charge will be made for this service.  


Early Years Pupil Premium

Some children are entitled to EYPP if they meet certain criteria/ postcode. This is used to enhance their learning experiences and enables us to buy specific resources (Communication and Language, Sensory) We also invite outside companies in to deliver drama, music and story telling. 


SEND Local Offer

 Children with Special Educational Needs are offered full access to a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum in Early Years Foundation Stage. Views of the child will be taken into account and parents will be listened to and included in planning for their child. Our setting has full disabled access and toilets. One member of our team has worked in an autistic unit and all staff have undertaken various training and will undertake additional training as necessary. Children can be referred to us by their Health Visitor, Children's Centre or parents can contact us direct to arrange a visit. SENIF

With parents permission, we are able to access additional funding for children with additional needs to enable us to provide resources, staffing and any equipment we may need

 

Curriculum 

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework. These are the standards school and childcare providers must meet for the learning, development and care for children from birth to five.
